Your chances

against these criteria.

How it chooses when it has more applicants than places, in order:

  1. Places allocated in rank order of SEAG TSAS, highest to lowest, up to 189 places; ties ranked by criteria 2 to 3.
  2. Applicants who list St Patrick’s Academy Dungannon as their first preference post-primary school.
  3. Applicants with a sibling enrolled at the school, an eldest eligible child, or a sibling of a past pupil.
  4. Tie-breaker: random selection by initial letter of surname in the set order, then computerised random selection.
  5. If places remain after SEAG candidates are admitted, criteria 2 to 3 are applied in order to remaining applicants.
