- H2(ii) (within a band): applicants whose eldest sibling previously achieved a top grade or Band 1 and applied but was not selected.
- H2(iii) (within a band): applicants where every older sibling did not achieve a top grade or band in the college's entrance assessment.
- H3 (within a band): applicants entitled to free school meals on the Education Authority register.
- H4 (within a band): applicants for whom the college is the nearest Catholic grammar school by distance from home.
- H5 (within a band): applicants with the highest SEAG TSAS, or TSAS allocated via special circumstances or provision, ranked first.
- H6: ties for the final place are resolved by initial letter of surname, in the printed order.
- H7: same initial letter is resolved by later surname letters; then forenames, eldest by date of birth, then random selection.
