Your chances

against these criteria.

How it chooses when it has more applicants than places, in order:

  1. Preference to girls with a SEAG TSAS (or a TSAS determined under special circumstances or special provisions).
  2. Places awarded in strict rank order of TSAS, highest first, up to the admission number of 157.
  3. Girls without a TSAS are considered after TSAS holders, if places remain.
  4. Sub-criterion (i): girls for whom Glenlola Collegiate is the first preference on the Transfer Application.
  5. Sub-criterion (ii): sister enrolled at Glenlola Collegiate, or brother enrolled at Bangor Grammar School, for the current school year.
  6. Sub-criterion (iii): attends, or attended in the current year, a primary school in the Ards & North Down Borough Council Area.
  7. Sub-criterion (iv): normal place of residence (address at the start of the Transfer Application) in Ards & North Down Borough.
  8. Sub-criterion (v): eldest child of the family eligible to apply, at the date of application (details to be provided).
  9. Sub-criterion (vi): other girls attending primary schools outside the Ards & North Down Borough Council Area.
  10. Sub-criterion (vii): all other girls.
  11. Final place only, if still tied: computer-generated random number, highest number allocated the place.

For September 2026 entry, 197 applications were considered for 157 places. Places ran out at criterion iv: Sub-criterion iv resolved a three-way tie for the final places; its meaning is not printed. EA statement
